The Beer Connoisseur magazine has just featured a picture and recipe from "The Best Beer Dinner" ever presented at Trattoria Acqua. One hundred guest enjoyed a multi-course menu studded with dishes paired with local beers from 3 of San Diego's most notable breweries: Ale Smith, Ballast Point and The Lost Abbey. A match made in Heaven!
Our dear friend, Brandon Hernandez created a spectacular menu and worked with our whiz kid, Executive Chef Hugo Lee to bring his vision to fruition. Heather (Brandon's wife) and I had the difficult task of sitting at the bar and pre-tasting all the delicious courses.
